	Aloe Vera is used as a moisturizer and has been proved effective in the treatment of skin burns
	Ginseng is famous in the Orient to ward away the ravaging effects of old age.
	Witch Hazel, another ingredient, has undoubted astringent and skin tonic properties. It is extracted from the leaves of Hamamelis Virginiana grown in New England.
	Birch Oil is from the bark and leaves of the Betula family from Europe. Again this is a mild astringent and has reputedly curative properties for skin complaints.
	Silk extracts, like Ginseng, is highly prized in beauty products in the Orient. Silk is a protein well suited to enrichment of the skin.
